TERMS & CONDITIONS — Sales & Rentals​

PT Movie Studio Bali (“Movie Studio Bali”, “MSB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the websites www.moviestudiobali.com and www.analogfilmcenter.com and conducts sales, rentals and service activities both online and directly. By accessing, purchasing, renting, or otherwise transacting with Movie Studio Bali, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Movie Studio Bali reserves the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately when posted on the website.

A. Website Use

  1. Users must be at least 18 years old or meet the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.
  2. Access to the website is permitted only for browsing, purchasing and rental-related activities.
  3. Users may not upload, publish, or distribute content on the website.
  4. The website and its services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
  5. Movie Studio Bali may suspend or terminate website access or features at any time when required for operational, technical or legal reasons.


B. Intellectual Property Rights

PT Movie Studio Bali is the legal owner and/or lawful holder of all intellectual property rights related to the following brands, websites, and their content:


This includes, but is not limited to: text, photos, video, audio, graphics, website design, software, documents, and all brand elements such as logos, icons and trademarks.
All intellectual property remains the exclusive property of PT Movie Studio Bali and is protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable international IP laws.
Press, collaborators, festivals and industry partners are welcome to use the brands and assets for appropriate editorial and promotional purposes, provided that such use:

  • does not mislead the public about partnership or endorsement,
  • does not discredit Movie Studio Bali or Analog Film Center,
  • does not create competing services or infringe commercial rights,
  • follows any provided brand usage guidance when applicable.


Any other use including modification of logos or identities, commercial advertising unrelated to MSB/AFC, resale, registration of similar domains, or distribution of assets requires written approval from PT Movie Studio Bali.


C. Accounts, Passwords & Security


  1. Registration is free.
  2. Users must provide accurate information during registration.
  3. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login data and all activities conducted under their account.
  4. Movie Studio Bali may suspend or close accounts, refuse service or delay refunds if fraud or abuse is suspected.
  5. Users must notify Movie Studio Bali immediately of unauthorized account access.


D. Purchases & Transactions

  1. All purchases must be made using official Movie Studio Bali payment channels.
  2. Orders are processed only after full payment has been received.
  3. Delivery timelines vary by region. MSB facilitates communication with couriers but is not liable for delays or damage caused by third-party logistics.
  4. Some items may require advance order.
  5. Unless mutually agreed in writing, purchased items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
  6. Credit card and QRIS payments are processed through Xendit as an authorized third-party payment gateway.


E. Pricing


  1. If a pricing or information error occurs, MSB may refuse or cancel orders, including paid orders. Incorrectly charged payments will be refunded.
  2. Prices may change at any time without prior notice.
  3. By placing an order, the customer agrees to all applicable costs displayed at checkout, including shipping and taxes


F. Product Information


Movie Studio Bali strives to provide accurate product descriptions. However, errors may occur. Customers agree not to hold MSB liable for discrepancies in product details.


G. Promotions


If irregularities, abuse or violations of promotion terms are detected, Movie Studio Bali may delay delivery, cancel transactions or revoke promotional benefits.


H. Taxes, Customs & Export


  1. Domestic shipments are subject to applicable taxes borne by the customer. 
  2. International orders are priced excluding VAT and may incur import duties or customs charges payable by the recipient.


I. Liability


  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSB is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages including loss of profit, business interruption, or delivery delay.
  2. MSB is not liable for damage caused by incompatible accessories, lack of maintenance, misuse, unauthorized repair, environmental conditions, force majeure, or manipulation of user devices by third parties.
  3. If liability applies, the maximum compensation shall not exceed the value of the transaction in question.


J. Rental Terms & Conditions


​​Payment

  1. Full payment must be received by the expiration date stated in the quotation.
  2. Bookings confirmed less than 48 hours before the rental start may incur a Last-Minute Booking Fee, calculated as a percentage of the total rental value and/or according to the minimum administrative fee stated in the quotation. The applicable amount will be written in the quotation and is considered accepted once the client confirms the booking.
  3. Long-term rental discounts apply to equipment only.
  4. Cancellation within 24 hours of the rental start: 50% of total rental.
  5. Cancellation on rental day: 100% of rental charge.
  6. Bank transfer fees are the customer’s responsibility.


​​Guarantee Fee

  1. Rentals without MSB crew/guard may require a refundable Guarantee Fee.
  2. The fee is refunded unless damage, loss, or unpaid transfer fees occur.
  3. Customers are responsible for repair/replacement costs of damaged or missing equipment.
  4. Bulb responsibility: Tungsten/Fresnel 100% — HMI 50% — LED 100% as assessed by MSB technicians.


Crew, Guard & Transport

A standard deployment day applies to all crew, guard and transport services. When deployment exceeds the standard day, overtime charges and/or overnight allowances may apply. The applicable rates for overtime, extended working hours, overnight stays, specialty personnel and extended vehicle use will be written in the quotation and are considered accepted once the client confirms the booking.

Some equipment categories and high-value items may require the presence of an MSB-assigned Guard on set. When this requirement applies, it will be stated in the quotation and must be accepted as part of the rental terms; such equipment cannot be rented without the Guard. If the Guard requirement is declined by the client, MSB reserves the right not to release the equipment, and any paid booking deposit may be subject to cancellation terms. The Guard requirement applies regardless of whether the client already provides their own security personnel.

Meals, beverages, accommodation and other living or travel expenses for personnel or transport are not included unless stated in the quotation. No weather contingency applies — all scheduled rental and deployment days remain billable regardless of weather conditions.

Any additional charges related to standby time, travel delays, location changes or changes to the production schedule will follow the quotation and are considered accepted upon booking confirmation.


Equipment Handling

  1. Complimentary prelight collection may be granted at the discretion of Movie Studio Bali when equipment is collected the day before the rental start and not operated. Any early collection and/or operation during prelight will be charged according to the quotation.
  2. Camera, dolly, generator and jib are always charged at 100%.
  3. The customer is fully responsible for equipment care and safe storage during the rental period.


Documentation

A signed Rental Agreement and valid documentation are required to secure equipment. MSB reserves the right to reject documentation that is incomplete, invalid, expired or unverifiable.
Movie Studio Bali provides equipment rental only and is not responsible for permits, visas or production permissions.


K. Film Lab Services (Processing, Scanning & Restoration)


Movie Studio Bali / Analog Film Center provides analog film processing, scanning and restoration services using chemical and mechanical procedures that inherently involve risk. Due to the nature of motion picture film processing, there is no guarantee of image quality, recovery of footage, or preservation of the original recorded material.

For any film submitted for processing, scanning or restoration, the client must sign the Film Lab Release of Liability Agreement prior to services being carried out. The Lab Release includes, but is not limited to: assumption of risk; no responsibility for the pre-existing condition of film stock; limitation of liability; and non-refundable processing fees.

Film submitted without a signed Release will not be processed. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the Film Lab Release of Liability Agreement, the Film Lab Release shall prevail for all film lab services.


L. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Disputes will first be resolved through mediation. If unresolved, jurisdiction lies with the

District Court of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

The Movie Studio Bali & Analog Film Center Press Kit (photos, videos, logos, graphics, and written assets) is provided for editorial, festival and partnership promotion only.

Permitted with credit:

Not permitted without written approval:

  • Commercial advertising unrelated to MSB/AFC
  • Modification of logos or brand identity
  • Misleading implication of partnership/endorsement
  • Redistribution or resale of brand assets

All Press Kit materials remain the intellectual property of PT Movie Studio Bali.
